Before installing the oil pump, check whether the model and specification are correct, and remove the anti-rust oil. The shims should be the right thickness to prevent the piston from being too thin or too thick to seize or operate incorrectly. When tightening the bolts, the tightening torque should be uniform to prevent damage to the oil pump.

2. The coarse filter core at the joint of the oil pump is easily blocked by dirt such as cotton wool, so it should be checked and cleaned frequently. If the filter is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced in time.

3. If there is a rubber sealing device between the hand pump piston on the oil transfer pump and the hand pump body, do not disassemble it at will, and replace the rubber casing if it is damaged.

4. The manual pump must be pressed back after use, and the button should be tightened to prevent the manual pump and rubber ring or ball valve and valve seat from being over-tightened and causing air intake or oil leakage.

5. Make sure that the "four springs" of the plunger oil pump have normal elasticity. The "four springs" are the piston spring, the tappet (roller) spring, the oil inlet valve spring and the oil outlet valve spring. If the elasticity of the spring is weakened or broken, it should be replaced or filled and adjusted in time.

6. Ensure that all sealing gaskets are intact, plastic gaskets should not be disassembled too many times, and replaced regularly.

7. Some fuel delivery pumps have oil drain holes on the pump body, which are used to make a small amount of diesel oil leaked from the fuel delivery pump directly flow out of the pump body. Do not block the hole to prevent diesel oil from entering the oil pan of the fuel injection pump to dilute the lubricating oil.

9. When parking for a long time, in order to prevent the oil pump mating surface, especially the piston and the pump body, the tappet and the tappet group from rusting due to water in the oil, anti-rust measures must be taken (when parking, use the fuel injection pump in the oil pan Replace the lubricating oil with impurities such as water and diesel oil).

10. The injected diesel oil should be filtered by precipitation to ensure cleanliness and prevent excessive impurities from aggravating the wear of the oil inlet valve, oil outlet valve and valve seat of the oil transfer pump. Sometimes, the oil valve may even fail due to impurities.
