1. Before installing the oil pump, check whether the model and specification are correct, and remove the anti-rust oil. The thickness of the gasket should be appropriate to prevent the piston from being too thin or too thick to cause the piston to die or not to run properly. When tightening the bolts, the tightening torque should be evenly to prevent damage to the oil pump.

2. The core of the coarse filter in the oil pump joint is easily blocked by dirt such as cotton wool, so it should be checked and cleaned frequently. If the filter is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced in time.

3. If there is a rubber sealing device between the hand oil pump piston and the hand oil pump body on the oil delivery pump, do not disassemble it at will, and replace the rubber ring in time if it is damaged.

4. The hand oil pump must be pressed back after use, and the button should be tightened to prevent air intake or oil leakage caused by the hand oil pump and the rubber ring or the ball valve and the valve seat due to insufficient pressure.

5. Ensure that the "four springs" of the plunger type fuel pump have normal elasticity. The "four springs" are piston springs, tappet (roller) springs, oil inlet valve springs, and oil outlet valve springs. If the spring elasticity is weakened or broken, it must be replaced or adjusted in time.

6. Make sure that the sealing gaskets are intact, and the number of disassembly and assembly of the plastic ring should not be too much, and should be replaced regularly.

7. There is an oil drain hole on the pump body of some oil delivery pumps. The function of this hole is to make a small amount of diesel oil leaked from the oil delivery pump flow out of the pump body directly. Do not block the hole to prevent diesel oil from entering the oil sump of the fuel injection pump to dilute the lubricating oil.
