1. Overheating
The fuel pump will definitely heat up when it runs at high speed, which requires the fuel itself to cool down. If the fuel is not enough to completely submerge the fuel pump, the heat dissipation of the fuel pump will be affected, and it will be easily damaged if it runs at high temperature for a long time. Therefore, it is also an important consideration not to wait for the red alarm of the fuel before refueling.
In all cases, the fuel on the left side is consumed preferentially. If the drainage is not smooth, or the fuel on the left side cannot reach the right side at all, the fuel pump will always pump the fuel on the right side, and the fuel pump will soon appear above the fuel level, affecting heat dissipation.
2. The fuel filter is not replaced for a long time
Seriously, there are such car owners who haven't changed the engine oil, engine filter and fuel filter after 30000 or 40000 km. They can't repair the car until it stops moving. If the fuel filter is not replaced for a long time, it will definitely make the fuel pump work hard. If you work hard for a long time, you will get old easily.
3. Use inferior fuel
There are also too many impurities and foreign matters in the inferior fuel, which is easy to block the suction filter screen of the fuel pump, making the fuel pump hard to pump. In addition, some impurities that cannot be filtered enter the fuel pump, which is also easy to wear the fuel pump.
